Kagyu Samye Dzong Northamptonshire


Kagyu Samye Dzong Northamptonshire is a branch of Rokpa Trust: A Registered Charity whose main centre is Kagyu Samye Ling in Eskdalemuir in the Scottish borders, founded in 1967, the first Tibetan Centre in the West. Rokpa means help in Tibetan and the charity's motto is "Helping where Help is needed".

Kagyu Samye Dzong Northamptonshire's main aims are:

  • To provide classes, guidance and practice in relaxation and meditation skills for everyone.
  • To develop a wider understanding of Buddhist practice.
  • To give support to the ailing people and culture of Tibet.
  • To give aid locally where needed. 
  • Establishing a Library and Information Centre.
